Been here a couple of years ago and it was a good buffet restaurant. Not anymore. Kids all over the place unsupervised getting food from the buffet food display. Some people not using serving spoons and scoops. Not what it used to be.

Valentines Manukau

I was a little nervous since we walked in around 8 at night And we were the only patrons, and it looked more like a bar/club than a restaurant. But they brought us a high chair for our 1 year old, and all the food we ordered was excellent. The fish and chips, beef burger (which is HUGE) and a kids ham and pineapple pizza. They had no problem with letting my son wander around either, which is a huge plus.

The service is just like it, but it is really large and the weight is sufficient. I feel that I can order one for two people, or bring the next meal. Relatively speaking, the guests are mostly Pacific Islanders. I followed my colleagues to Christmas dinner.

You dont get a rating, because I am beyond disgusted for what I paid for on Thursday 21/1/16. I am a widow with 3 kids.I dont spend money on take out or eating out. Im on a budget. I bust a gut for every dollar i earn.So I said to my kids. lets go to Valentines Manukau. Cos yrs ago. It was gorgeous. I paid $83.70 for the worst experience of my dining out life. They dont care what they serve there. Since when was lamb flap curry on any decent restaurant menu in NZ? Butter chicken was tough unappetising chicken with something aickin to a baby food flavour added. This is NZ!!!! This should NOT be happening in NZ. I&#39;ll be in touch Head Quarters, and I will go as far it takes to sort this out. You are taking our hard earned money and serving us crap.I struggled to eat anything there. Hugely disappointed. It was mind blowing that this restaurant is even open.

hideous, disgusting, old, reheated, off food! We came to this Valentines 5 years ago and it was wonderful! came 2016 to a new location and so so disappointed! So sad we had to pay up front which was VERY expensive! I wish we hadn&#39;t of paid ! The chicken was splitting and curling up at the sides because it was soo dry it also was sitting in a sauce that had a lid forming on it, the cheesecake had a rank off taste, the ice cream was being helped too by a bunch of kids - who were using their own spoons to get the ice-cream out - then eatting it there! with that spoon! Staff were walking around as if that was the norm! That was just some of the experience we had - I was blown away how awful a place could be! My family all dished out x1 meal each - but could not eat it, my husband tried the cheesecake and it was off, that was the final straw - we walked out. Do not go there! Come on NZ - where are the laws on what we allow to serve! shame on you Valentines!
